Back Home
Sorry I have not been on this last week. My computer has come down with a virus so I have had to reduce my time on the computer. Pray that God will give me some computer wisdom.
I am so thankful to God for giving the Palin family a week back at home.
Dear Father,
I pray that the Palin family will continue to enjoy being home. I see that Sarah is traveling to Florida for a Govenors meeting. I pray for safety and a great prees conferance. I pray that her head will rise above those who wish to harm her. Lord, give her the directions that you desire. I know that you have a plan for Sarah and the family. I pray that as the holidays come she enjoys Trig's first Christmas along with her Grandson.
Thank you Father for them and I pray that you will continue to be with them as they are still faithfully serving you and our country.

I do not doubt my God
Today is a bitter sweet day. I am sadden by the choice our nation has made. It makes my heart weep for my country to know that more than half are following a leader who does not believe in Life and who will do everything in his power to make the taking of life easier. Lord, I am sorry our country has walked so far from you. I now have a new president. Lord I pray that you will use his time in office for your glory. I pray that our nation will return to you. I will pray for my leaders and I will trust in you my God.
Lord, I thank you for Sarah and her family. I pray that you will go with them as they go back home and and continue being first family of Alaska. Thank you for their service and their transparency as they campaign. Lord, thank you for the opportunity of meeting them and praying for them. I thank you for Sarah and her belief in you and her love for her country. Protect her from those who wish to harm her, her name and reputation. Lord, use Sarah for your greatness. Thank you for creating her and using her to give the church hope in this nation. Bring Christians together as a people who can show other the love of Christ. Thank you for Sarah's leadership and candor.
I will miss seeing her in the news and praying for her. I pray that she will be able to rest and continue to be Sarah. Lord, last night when the tears were in her eyes they were running down my face. Lord, I hurt for her and her family and for all that came to know her and love her, but Lord, I know the day is not done. I know you will continue to use Sarah. Give her wisdom and keep her path straight.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ my comfort.
amen

I voted today
Thank you Father,
Thank you for a country in which I have the right to vote. Lord, I thank you for all who have gone to vote and bring more people out to vote. I pray that all votes will be valid and those that are not won't count. Help the people at the poles to be fair and righteous in their actions today. Lord, be with our country on this day of transition. Lord, give us a peaceful change in government. Lord, keep our citizen calm and understanding. Lord I pray for peace.
Keep Sarah and the family safe on this day as they travel to Arizona and Lord thank you for the safety you provided yesterday. This morning when she voted she thanked you for all that you have done. Lord, I echo Sarah's thanks. Bless her with rest and provide for her and the family the strength they will need today.
I pray in the name of Jesus
Amen

Let the Truth be revealed
Thank the Lord the light is shining even in the Eleventh hour. Sarah was in Lakewood Ohio this morning and she made a statement about God revealing even at this lake hour things about Obama that show us his real intent. She was talking about a tape when he was in San Fransisco talking about how our energy bills will go up because he does not plan to use coal. He will make it too expensive to mine coal.
Lord,
Thank you for your light shining and thank you that Sarah gave you the credit. Lord continue to reveal more and more of the truth concerning Obama and his intentions and his beliefs. Make it clear what countries want him as our president. Make their intentions and beliefs clear. Bring out the names of the people who have given money to Obama and therefore have influence over him. Lord ,let this be heard all day long and all night long. Make it pronounced by all media avenues, all printed source and every Internet sight Lord spread the news in away that only you can. Lord, continue to reveal the Truth about this election. Let all voter fraud be found and the people who abusive the right to vote are caught and brought to justice.
Thank you Lord for your mercy. Keep Sarah and the Family safe today as they head back to Alaska. Let her be energized and strong to the very end. Let her voice be magnified, her words be clear and her message from her heart. Thank you for her. Keep her safe on this last day as she goes home.
I pray in the name of Jesus.
Amen

Be Strong in the Lord
Be strong in the Lord, and be of good courage;
Your mighty Defender is always the same.
Mount up with wings, as the eagle ascending;
Victory is sure when you call on His name.
So put on the armour the Lord has provided;
And place your defense in His unfailing care.
Trust Him for He will be with you in battle,
Lighting your path to avoid every snare.
Be strong in the Lord,and be of good courage;
Your mighty Commander will vanquish the foe.
Fear not the battle, for the victory is always His;
He will protect you where ever you go.
Be strong, be strong, be strong in the Lord;
And be of good courage, for Hi is your guide.
Be strong, be strong be strong in the Lord;
And rejoice, for the victory is yours.

Arrows of Victory
Elisha said, "Get a bow and some arrows," and he did so. "Take the bow in your hands," he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king's hands. "Open the east window," he said, and he opened it. "Shoot!" Elisha said, and he shot. "The Lord's arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!" Elisha declared. "You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek." 2 Kings 13:15-17
Lord, Give us an arrow of Victory. Lord, We are coming down to the end of the battle. Give us the provisions to finish the task. You know that this has been a long fought battle and some are running out of arrows. Lord. sustain us and give us what it take to cross the finish line. You are our victory. Only through you we have and will win. Lord, I love you and I thank you for all those who have been faithful. Provide for them a blessing from Your grace and wisdom. Lord, we ask you for guidance, wisdom, and grace to fight for life, freedom and democracy. Lord, I thank you for this country and I pray that those in this country who love you will see that life is precious and worth fighting to preserve.
Lord, give Sarah a quiver full of arrows on this day. Let her aim be true and Lord, bring down the opposition. Protect her from those who wish to harm her. Keep her safe from those who wish to ruin her spirit. Lord, keep her heart tender and help her to forgive those who do evil against her. She is your daughter. You have placed her on the front lines. Please place a shield about her. Let her wait on you for the Victory.
Lord, Give Todd a way to support and protect Sarah. Thank you for his love for her, keep it strong and unwavering. Provide for him the strength he will need in the days to come. Thank you for his positive spirit and Lord thank you for his love for you. Give Todd and Sarah a private moment on this day. Help them to draw strength from you and each other. Bless the kids and keep them soft and unharmed.
I thank you for the victory given by Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus
Amen

Sustain Us
Abba Father,
Thank you for going with us in this battle so far. You have been faithful and have answered many of our prayers. Lord, I know that I pray thine will be done and I mean it more than ever if that is possible. Lord, in my mind if we lose the election then we have lost the war. Lord, give us your peace, your hope and your vision. Your hand has been on the Palin family before they were born, Lord, I know you will not forsake them or us now. Lord this war is bigger than this battle for the White house. Show us Lord where this battle takes us. I pray that we will glorify your name on Wednesday no matter the outcome. I love you and I pray to see your vision for our nation and for the Palin family. I know that you have chosen Sarah for such a time as this. Thank you for being so very faithful.
I pray in the name of the most High God

You answered again Thank you
Over and over again we have asked God to reveal the Truth concerning this election and God has been so faithful in bringing out the truth in so many unusual ways. He has used men to speak out on the rope lines like Joe and Tito.
Lord, I thank you for these men who have had the boldness to ask questions and speak out. Lord I know that there have been many more that we do not know about and I thank you for them as well.
Thank you for answering the prayers that were prayed on Thursday, October 23, 2008 titled “Let the Truth be heard” and on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 “Let Freedom RING” on that day we asked for You to
“Bind up the lies and show them to our nation. Let people hear the truth and understand it as truth.”
Lord continue to bring out the truth. Let is be spoken freely and unhampered. Let the truth be broadcasted through out the world. I ask that truth about the election is not only spoken, but the Truth about You, my Father is proclaimed loud and clear.
Thank you for hearing our prayers and granting us mercy.
I thank you in the name of my savior Jesus Christ

Unify the Camp
My Father,My Lord,
I pray for Sarah today, I see that there is trouble in the camp. Lord, I pray that you will remove those who wish to harm her and her ability to lead. I pray that those who work under her as her support will work well as a team with one goal. Lord, remove anyone who is seeking glory or self-recognition.
Lord, I continue to pray for godly counsel to come around Sarah and help her make the right decisions for the day and days to come. Lord, I pray that she will listen to You as you speak with her through the day. Give her time to run, and read the Word. Give her private time with Todd and the family. Help her to regain strength, and peace.
Let there be no more conflict between people who are in the McCain campaign. Lord, let forgiveness be given and received, let words of healing be spoken and for those who want to harm lead them to leave. Keep Sarah’s heart tender, gracious and strong.
In Jesus Name
Amen

Let the righteous influence today
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalms 1 NIV
My Father,
Please bless those who delight in your law, plant them as trees by a stream of water and let them yield fruit in season. Lord, I pray this is the season for fruit to grow and ripen. Lord, I know it takes time for trees to grow and become fruit bearing.
Lord, I have seen Sarah as one to rely on You for her wisdom and strength. I have seen her look to you for her direction and you have directed her path. Lord, I pray this is the time for the wicked to be like the chaff that the wind blows away. Lord, I know that this election has been a spiritual battle. I pray that you will watch over the way of the righteous and remove those who are wicked.
Lord, the influence of evil is strong in our culture. Lord, I pray that as believers we are able to win our culture for you. I pray that good will be our heart’s desire. I pray that our culture will once again see Your right and see wrong as You see wrong. Lord, convict our land. I pray that we will confess our sins and delight in the law of the Lord. I pray that we will meditate day and night on Your words.
Allow the righteous influence today on the direction of this nation. Let your Truth be heard and believed today.
Give Sarah and Senator McCain the boldness and the strength that they need for this day. I pray for the whole staff, make this a productive day, one with eternal value for our nation.
I pray in the Word that became flesh, my Jesus.
Amen

Our Shepherd
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, and he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Ps 23
Lord, thank you for being our Shepherd. You have a wonderful shepherd and you provide for us many things. I ask for forgiveness for our self and unnecessary wants. Lord, I know that you are Sarah’s shepherd too. Lord, pray that you make her to lie down in green pastures and lead her beside quiet waters. Lord, restore Sarah’s soul. Be her guide in righteousness for your namesake. Even when she walks through the Valley of the shadow of death let her fear no evil. Please reminder that you are with her and her family. Use your rod and your staff as you comfort them. Lord please prepare a table before the presence of her enemies. Lord, anoint her head with oil and overflow her cup. Surely, Your goodness and love will follow Sarah all the days of her life, as she dwells in the house of the Lord forever.
I pray these things in my shepherd Jesus Christ

Keep her gracious, Lord
We desire to glorify You, our Father.
Our Father,
You are a good God, I know that what ever happens on this election the end will bring you glory. If I may make one request, Lord, I thank you for giving us a voice. I pray that those who love you will be heard not only today but in years to come. I pray our message will resonate throughout our nation. We will speak boldly of You as God our Creator, the giver of life. Lord let us share with others the hope and peace only You can give.
I thank you for Sarah and how the Palin family has spoken out for you. Thank you that they have lived their lives like all of us with mistakes and successes. Let the Truth be heard
Lord,
The days are slipping away very quickly. I feel like the sands in the hourglass are moving at mock three speeds. Lord, let the truth be heard, understood, and believed in these last few hours. Lord, the mainstream media is not going to tell the truth. Please show us the people who are financing our media and reveal their true agenda.
Lord, help us create other airways, avenues and methods for the truth to be told. Create for Sarah many unconventional ways for her to speak to the voting population. Bring others out to speak on her behalf.
When she speaks let the multitudes come to hear her. Bring people to her by the thousands and the ten thousands. Let her speak with confidence, clarity and truth. Give her and Senator McCain the boldness they need to turn the tide of perception from lies to truth.
Lord, we know that you are The Truth. Lord, let the world see the reality of the presidency without McCain and Palin. Reveal to the world the real danger if our country is led by Obama. Lord make the message clear and plain as to why there are certain countries who want Obama as our nest president. Lord, have mercy on us and spare our nation for four more years.
I beg of thee.
My Father let your will be done and provide for me the peace that comes know that you are in control.
In the name of Jesus Christ the Truth.
Amen.

Love your enemies
Dear Father,
I pray that your will be done on this day, Lord as I read through Matthew 5 & 6 I keep coming across the verses of loving my enemy. In this battle of an election, we have found ourselves up against the enemy. Thank you for reminding me that you desire for me to love them. You know better than I do all the bad deeds, words and thoughts that have been done against us. Lord, I will ask you to take care of these, but Lord, forgive me of my deeds, words and thoughts against others that have not glorified you. Forgive me of my trespasses. Lord, only through your love can I love those who hate you and me. Teach me how to love my enemy.
Lord, the Palin Family has had hurtful deeds, words, and thoughts done to them during this election. Lord, remind them that this battle is Yours recall to their minds, Matthew 5:44 Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you. Lord, give them the grace to be gracious and loving to others. Give them the love and forgiveness they will need on this day and the many months to come.
Lord, unforgiveness is a powerful destroyer in our lives. Please let there be no unforgiveness in their heart and in ours. We can become unforgiving on there behalf, so Lord guard us and remind us daily to Love our enemies, because you loved us when we were your enemy. Thank you for Your forgiveness because without it we cannot do the things You have asked us to do. I love you and I desire to do your will.
I pray in Jesus Name and through His blood
Amen

Be Thou My Vision
Be Thou My Vision
Words by Mary E. Byrne 1880-1931
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me save that thou art:
Thou my best thought by day or by night,
Walking or sleeping thy presence my light.
Be Thou my wisdom, and thou my true word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord:
Thou my great Father, I Thy true Son,
Thou in me dwelling, and I with thee one.
Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5 NIV
My great Father,
I pray that Thine will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Thank you for giving us a beautiful day. The sun shines for your glory. I praise you for you are a mighty God. Thank you for being with me and giving me the wisdom I need. Thank you ,Holy Spirit for praying for me yesterday.
Thank you for part of the Palin family being together yesterday. Thank you for their spirit of gratefulness they share with the country. Lord, I pray that today you will be Sarah and Todd’s vision. Let them know that you are in control. Let them see your hand at work in their lives and the lives of those around them. I am grateful that they have given you an important place in their lives.
Thank you for the wonderful hymn Be Thou my Vision. Today the words have blessed my soul. Thank you for letting us rely on you for our completeness. I love you Father and I pray that Your will be done on this day.
I pray in Jesus Name
Amen

Pray For Me
Good Morning Lord,
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26
Today I find myself empty and without words. How do I cry out to you my God and my Savior? Holy Spirit pray for me today. You know my heart and you know the Father’s will better than I. You see the needs of the Palin family today. Lord, I lift up Todd, Sarah, Track, Bristol and baby, Levi, Willow, Piper and Trig. Lord, see the need and let your will be done in each life. Take care of them on this day. Bless them with your blessings.
I pray in Jesus name
Amen

Why do we pray?
Our prayers for you are always spilling over into thanksgivings. We can't quit thanking God our Father and Jesus our Messiah for you! We keep getting reports on your steady faith in Christ, our Jesus, and the love you continuously extend to all Christians. The lines of purpose in your lives never grow slack, tightly tied as they are to your future in heaven, kept taut by hope. It's the same all over the world. The Message bears fruit and gets larger and stronger, just as it has in you. From the very first day you heard and recognized the truth of what God is doing, you've been hungry for more. Colossians 1:3-6 The Message
This is why we pray. We pray because we are thankful, and we know that this is a battle. We pray so that we may be faithful for we to have been called for a purpose. Let us never grow slack.
Dear Father in Heaven,
We bless you for the blessings that you have given us. Lord, I pray that you will continue to use Sarah for your honor and glory. Let the fruit that she bears bring you blessings. Lord, help us to remain faithful in our intercessions for the Palin family, our nation and one another.
Lord, on this day I pray that she will have a time of rest, recovery, and renewal. Bring her family together so that they will enjoy one another. Thank you for their presents and energy that they bring to our nation at this time.
Continue to give them wisdom and grace as they touch lives each day.
Thank you for this opportunity of prayer.
In Jesus name
Amen.

The rebellion has begun and it is not a partisan fight
The rebellion has begun and it is not a partisan fight
Sandy Rios - Guest Columnist - 10/16/2008 10:00:00 AM
What is that spirit that we recognize and can build on? What is that spirit that we want to connect to...that spirit of rebellion? The spirit of resistance...the spirit of insurgency! It's that spirit we should be talking about. (Bill Ayers, 2007, on the occasion of the 40-year anniversary of the Weather Underground)
Perhaps Ayers' wife, Bernadine Dohrn, expressed that "spirit" best in a public warning at the zenith of the Weather Underground's influence:
Now we are everywhere and next week families and tribes will attack the enemy around the country. We're not just attacking targets; we're bringing the pitiful, helpless giant (the USA) to its knees. Guard your planes...guard your colleges...guard your banks...guard your children...guard your doors.
This election long ago ceased to be a partisan battle between Republicans and Democrats. It really isn't a contest over big and small government, higher or lower taxes, or even abortion and homosexual rights.
Somewhere along the way -- while most of us were enjoying our precious freedoms, taking kids to soccer, ordering pizza and listening to our iPods -- there was another group of people who were at work to destroy America. Even as they enjoyed with us its benefits, they schemed and planned and, moment by moment, inch by inch, gained a footing and we never realized the ground was shifting.

Be Strong till the end
Dear Father,
You have called Sarah to run a race many of us will never run, but at the same time, we all are to run your race. Lord, Sarah not only has a great cloud of witness like the one it says in Hebrews but she also has all of us to cheer her on. Lord, give her the strength to carry through until the end. Give her the courage and good health that this race requires. Provide for her peace and joy that only You can provide. Thank you Lord for the privilege we have to lift Sarah and others up in prayer. Lord, I know that you will provide for her and carry her through. We will wait on you Lord, for our hope is in You. Thank you for renewing our strength.
In Jesus Name.
Amen
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1 NIV
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 NIV

Bless Joe
Dear Lord,
I thank you for a nation who has people who work hard for their dreams. I thank you for the freedoms we have to dream a dream and the ability to pursue them. We pray that our American nation will remain a nation in which we have the freedoms to pursue our dreams, where we are not punished for our success and blessings.
Lord, a hard working man asked an honest question and now he is mocked and his life is being torn apart. Give him this day a way to hold his head up and dream his dreams even when he is being scorned. Let him know that many of us understand how he feels. Thank you for Joe, Bless him on this day. Keep him strong.
Lord, Give Sarah and Senator McCain the words to encourage all of us who are like Joe. Thank you for a ticket who desires to help us and not take what we have earned. I pray that Sarah will have the strength to do all that is laid out for her today. Keep her healthy and strong in the next 3 weeks. Each day is one less day to speak the truth so Lord give her many opportunities to touch people's lives and encourage us to be the best Americans we can be. Let her touch and see the hurts and the blessings we all share, help her to understand and be compassionate. Give her the freedom to share her heart and her generous spirit. Thank you for her. Bless the Palin family today as they travel and speak. Thank you for the blessings they have been to so many.
I pray these things in Jesus lovely name.
Amen

Let Freedom RING!
Thank you Father for our voice.
Let it be used for good and not for evil. Let me proclaim your goodness and greatness. Thank you that with my voice I can ask for forgiveness and praise you for your almighty powers. I can use my voice to encourage others. I can use my voice to sustain democracy. I can use my voice to glorify you. Thank you for giving me a voice.
Lord, thank you for giving us Sarah who has encourages us to use our voices. Thank you for giving women like me, who love you and desire to live our lives pleasing to you, a voice to let others know that we are here in this world. We have beliefs that they do not like or understand, but we have a voice. Lord let our voices be heard. Let the call of freedom be proclaimed from every mountain and valley. Let it ring from your children far and wide. Lord let us speak and Lord let the world hear.
I pray in Jesus name.

I have come to realize this election is not McCain vs Obama. It has come down to my way of thinking, living, believing vs theirs. I have come to understand it is not only McCain Palin that is fighting Obama it needs to be me. I need to stand up and declare what I desire for my nation, state, city, home, and my life. It is up to me not to give up, but to fight. So I am going to pronounce my support for McCain tonight after the debate. No matter how the debate goes. He has my support. I will be sending every TV local and national networks my voice. I will take a stand today.

We confess that we have forgotten God
On April 30, 1863, with a nation in the midst of the tragic Civil War, President Lincoln at the request of the Senate issued a proclamation calling this nation to prayer. Excerpts from that proclamation are as follows:
…it is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God; to confess their sins…and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord…
…We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many, years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown, but we have forgotten God.
…We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined in the deceitfulness of our own hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God who made us;
It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.
Presidential prayers
Thank you for a nation who has always had a remnant that acknowledged You as God. Lord I know that in II Chronicles 7:14 You gave your people a promise.
"If my people, which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Lord, open your eyes unto us and let your ears be attentive unto our prayer on this day.
Lord, I confess that our nation has over and over again have denied you in the past 40 years. Oh Lord, forgive us of our sins of selfishness, hate, and going our own way. But I like Abraham of old ask if there are 5 righteous in our land will you spare us? Lord, I know that over the years many have denied you. They have tried to wipe you out of our schools, thoughts, and hearts, but my Father, I also know that there has always been a remnant in this land, who have faithfully believed in you. Lord, because of who you are, I pray that you will forgive us this day and heal our land.
I pray through the blood of Jesus Christ who died for me.
Amen

Answers to Prayer
We prayed that Piper would be able to spend time with a parent this weekend. She and her sister Willow went to the opening Flyer's game with their Mom.
Our second answer to prayer is for Bristol and her relationship with Levi. Levi speaks to the press about all the rumors going around about his relationship with Bristol. He answers many questions in an article done by the AP you can find it @ http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081013/ap_on_el_pr/palin_wasilla_heartthrob
God is a good God and He even hears our simple request. Lord, Thank you for hearing our prayers.
I continue to ask that the truth is spoken clearly. Lord, thank you for giving Sarah the courage to speak about Abortion and her desire to protect Life. Thank you for her convictions on this matter. Lord, Thank you for a candidate who desires to speak out.
Give her and John McCain the gumption to proclaim the Truth loud and clear. Be with them on the campaign trail in North Carolina. Lord, thank you for what will be said. I pray that the media does not distort their message.
I pray all these things for with a grateful heart. Thank you for answering our prayers.

God is our Hope
Dear Father,
Today is your Day Lord. It was good to be with believers this morning. I pray that Sarah and Todd and the kids get a chance to be with believers. I find it encouraging and uplifting. Thank you Lord, for your Church. Sorry we have messed it up so badly. I pray for the church that in the next few days, weeks, months, we will be able to show the world that there is hope. Our hope is not in our elected officials but in You. You are our rock and our fortress, You are my guiding light. Thank you, for your salvation and love. I pray for those who have no hope, for they have not you. Lord, help us to share with this world your hope and love.
Lord, I pray that just as you filled David when he was anointed king you will fill Sarah today. I know that she the only way she can do the job she has been called to do is with your filling. Holy Spirit flow through her. Use her this day as she walks and talks. Let your love and hope flow out through her so others can see and know you. I know that her hope for today is in you and not in our government. Lord, give her the right words to say. Let truth be spoken with boldness and clarity. Thank you again for giving us a person with principles and morals. Lord, let her speak from her heart and let the world hear You.
I pray all this in Jesus lovely name.
Amen

God's plan
Every power, every hinge on which history pivoted, involved God's plan.
Ravi Zacharias
Lord,
thank you for having a plan. Thank you for using each one of us. I am glad that Sarah is part of your plan. I am glad that she is willing to run for office and to serve our country. Lord, protect her through these next few days. Protect Todd in the events that will unfold in the next week. Thank you for their willingness to stand up for what is right, even when it cost.
I pray for the children on this day. Be with Trigg as he grows, help each step of his development. Send the right people to help him learn to love you. Lord be with Piper on the weekends help her to have some time with one of her parents. Be with Willow as she deals with what is being said about her family, keep her heart tender and willing to forgive. Thank you for Bristol, and help her in the last three months of her pregnancy. Keep her child safe and help the child to be healthy. Lord, I pray for the father of her child that he will be willing to be a great dad and wonderful husband to Bristol and the child. Thank your for Track and all that he is doing in Iraq. Help him to walk in you each day. He will have many life lessons in the sand, help him to learn them daily.
Thank you for working in our lives and country. Keep all the men and women who protect our freedoms safe. Lord, help us here at home to protect our freedoms that are being threatened during this election. Lord, all I can pray is thine will be done. Help me to except your will. Use these events to bring others to Christ.
I pray all of these things in the Name of Jesus
Amen

Your mercies are new every morning
Good Morning Lord,
Thank you for being our hope on this day. You have blessed us with a new day and I know that your mercies are new this morning. Thank you for walking with me today.
I pray for Sarah and Todd this morning. I pray they will be able to spend sometime together soon. I thank you for their friendship and I pray that their love will remain strong through this hour.
Lord, protect Todd's heart and help him not to become hard at others who say horrible things about his friend, lover, mother of his children and wife. I know that he desires to protect her. Let Todd know that you will protect the family.
Today is under your control so Lord I ask you to remind Sarah through a word spoken or read, maybe even a hug, that she is loved by you, that you have called her and you will walk with her through this day. Lord, let her see your mercies on this day. Bless and protect her children.
Thank you for this calling not only on Sarah's life but, now on all of our lives. Help us to be better informed citizens with the power to impact our land and change the attitudes of this nation. Help us to be the guiding light for our children and our country.
I pray all of this in the
Name and power of Jesus Christ.
Amen

Swing States
Lord,
I know that you have a plan for me and for my family. You also have a plan for our nation. Lord, help me to wait on you and except your plan as it unfolds. Lord, as you know we are in an election year. I would love for this race to be comfortable and know that we are winning but, Lord, your plan is for us to learn to trust you and wait on you.
Lord, as Sarah moves about the country and in these swing states help her to speak to not only to the nation but, with the families in these cities. Lord, help her speech to be sure and true. Give her the right answers with a cheerful spirit. Thank you for her spirit and attitude. Lord, I pray that she will have time to be with you, time to run, time to rest, and time to be with her family in some way. Lord provide the right opportunities to speak to the people of our nation. Thank you for her and her commitment to this race. Bless her and her family today. Let your light shine through her.

After more research I see that Sarah and Senator John McCain will be in Bethlehem, Pa and Strongsville, OH.
Pray that people will come to the rallies and that the truth will be spoken clearly so that America can make the right choice on Nov 4Th.

How to answer everyone
Colossians 4:6
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone
Lord,
Day after day Sarah is answering questions of all types. Some are helpful and some are hurtful. Lord I pray that her conversation will be full of grace and seasoned with salt. Lord, I pray that she might rely on you when she speaks. May truth be spoken and a clear message proclaimed. Today, she has three campaign stops. Give her the strength, wisdom and joy to do all three. Bring the people to hear her and Lord, Help them to encourage Sarah today. Let her know that we appreciate what she is doing and the sacrifices she is making to be our VP. Lord, help us to stand by her in prayer today. Protect her and keep her. Bless the kids today and be with Todd.

Thank you
Thank you for sending your comments. They are very encouraging. I am sorry I have not figured out how to post them to the right day. They are all being posted to the first day I blogged. I hope to fix this soon. Sorry for my mistakes. Thanks again. Robin
Counting down the days
Each morning means one more day closer to Nov 4Th. Stand firm, Remind yourself as to why you are fighting. Pray with out ceasing. The Freedoms we hold dear depend on us today.
Lord,
As I read through the emails and blogs America's future can look very scary. I know that evil is real and it would love to take us down. It desires for Christians not to have the freedom to speak of you freely, to pray to you openly, to honor you as our God in public. It wants us to run and hide. To put our light under a basket. I say no! Lord, I say let my light shine. Let the world see you and your love. Lord, help us protect our freedoms. Let us stand steadfast no matter the cost. Let us fight for you. Lord, protect our land so that our children can learn of you. Lord, Let your will be done on November 4Th. I can do all thing through Christ that strengthens me.
Lord, let the true motives of evil be reveled today so people will not be led astray. I am the Way the Truth and the Life no man comes to the Father but by me. Thank you Jesus for being my Way, my Truth and my Life. Thank you for being the only Hope for this world.
Today Lord, be with Sarah and her family. I know that Sarah will be in Florida for the next two days. Lord bring the people by the thousands, help them to hear a clear and truthful message. Lord, Help Sarah to speak the truth with the authority that only you can give her. Place a shield of protection around her and her family. Lord, Track has been on my heart the last 24 hours. Be with him today for only you know what he needs, Lord I ask you to be his provider. Keep him safe. Keep his unit safe. Make their way straight. Thank you for the men and women who serve our country. Bless them today.
Lord, provide a blessing for Sarah today. Let her know that many are lifting her up in prayer. Let her feel your presence around and about her on this day. Lord, bring scripture to her mind, Holy Spirit empower her so that others will see Jesus through her. Bless her staff and the Secret Service detail that shield her everyday. Let them see Jesus.
Thank you Father for your many blessings.
We trust in you for our tomorrows, for we know that they are in your hand.
In Jesus most precious name I pray.
Amen.

A beautiful day!
Dear Father,
Thank you for the beautiful day we had here in the south. I thank you for your love and grace on this day. I thank you that Sarah is able to campaign out in the west this weekend. I hope they will have safety in travel. Lord, I pray that she will be able to tell people what is on her heart. I pray that her speech will be clear and honest. I pray that many will think about what she has to say and make a decision to vote on November 4Th.
Lord, thank you for the rights we have in our country. I pray that many generations to come will still have the right to vote. Lord, help us to keep America a place with the freedoms we hold dear.
Lord, give the Palin family time together this weekend and help them to rest and maintain their strength for the next 32 days.
Thank you again, for a family willing to serve our country.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen

Thank you, Father, She stood her ground
Great Job Sarah!!
Our Father,
We thank you for last night. Thank you for the strength you provided. Thank you for the humor and candor. Thank you for the wisdom and clear straight talk. Thank you that what Sarah said came clearly to us with out filters. Please make know the lies that were spoken last night clear to the American people. If he is willing to lie in a debate Lord what will he do in a more important national crises? Lord make the truth come out.
I am grateful for the fact that Sarah was not fearful. She did not let others push her around. She stood her ground. Thank you for helping her to do all that she did. Thank you for answers to our prayers. Thank you that her family was beside her, it was good to know that Todd wanted her to have her family there. It was good to see Mom and Dad there to support there daughter. Thank you Lord, for Sarah.
Use her in a mighty way in the next month and the rest of her life how ever you deemed best for her and her family.
Thank you Lord. We have been blessed by you.
With a grateful heart we praise you.
In Jesus name
Amen

Three days
Today is Tuesday and we have three days to set ourselves aside for fasting and prayer. I keep thinking of Ester and Mordecai and the people who fasted for Ester before she went before the king for the sake of her people and you and I.
We have three days before the VP Debate. I feel a strong moving to Fast and Pray until the debate is through. Will you join me?
I know that God has a plan here and he is working his plan. I pray that we will continually lift up Sarah and her Family in the next three days.
Wisdom
Courage
Honor
Freedom to speak her heart
Freedom to be herself
Willingness to let God fill her and be her strength
To be God's vessel
To hear Godly counsel
To feel God's empowerment
To Rest
For Todd
That he will be a strong tower for her
That he will rely on God
That he will be an encourager
For the Kids
They will understand and be proud of Mom
They will encourage her
They will lean on God through this week.
Lord, over the next three days Sarah and her family will need you more than ever. You have promised in your word that we will not be tested with more than we can bare or you will create an escape. Escape does not look possible or beneficial, so Lord we ask of you to give her the wisdom, understanding, psychical strength, and the sense of your presence and comfort. Lord, I will rely on you to provide all the other things she will need. I will trust you to be faithful and I pray that not my will but thine be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Thank you Father for hearing my prayer.
I pray in the blessed name of Jesus
Amen
No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it. I Cor. 10:13 NRSV
1b. Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 3a For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: Isa 43 1-3 KJV

'Before they call, I will answer. Isaiah 65:24
Isaiah 65:24
This beautiful story was written by a doctor who worked in Central Africa.
One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do, she died, leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter. We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive; as we had no incubator (we
had no electricity to run an incubator). We also had no special feeding facilities.
Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts. One student midwife went for the box we had for such babies and the cotton wool that the baby would be wrapped in. Another went to stoke up the fire and fill a hot water bottle. She came back shortly in distress to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had burst (rubber perishes easily in tropical climates). 'And it is our last hot water bottle!' she exclaimed.
As in the West, it is no good crying over spilled milk, so in Central Africa it might be considered no good crying over burst water bottles. They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest pathways.
'All right,' I said, 'put the baby as near the fire as you safely can, and
sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts. Your job is to keep the baby warm.'
The following noon, as I did most days, I went to have prayers with any of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me. I gave the youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about the tiny baby. I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm enough, mentioning the hot water bottle, and that the baby could so easily die if it got chills. I also told them of the two-year-old sister, crying because her mother had died.
During prayer time, one ten-year-old girl, Ruth, prayed with the usual blunt conciseness of our African children.
'Please, God' she prayed, 'Send us a hot water bottle today. It'll be no good tomorrow, God, as the baby will be dead, so please send it this afternoon.'
While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added, 'And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly for the little girl so she'll know You really love her?'
As often with children's prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I honestly say 'Amen?' I just did not believe that God could do this. Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything; the Bible says so. But there are limits, aren't there? The only way God could answer this particular prayer would be by sending me a parcel from the homeland. I had
been in Africa
for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever, received a parcel from home. Anyway, if anyone did send me a parcel, who would put in a hot water bottle? I lived on the equator!
Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses' training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door. By the time I reached home, the car had gone, but there on the verandah was a large 22-pound parcel. I felt tears pricking my eyes.
I could not open the parcel alone, so I sent for the orphanage children. Together we pulled off the string, carefully undoing each knot. We folded the paper, taking care not to tear it unduly. Excitement
was mounting. Some thirty or forty pairs of eyes were focused on the large cardboard box.
From the top, I lifted out brightly-colored, knitted jerseys. Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children looked a little bored. Then came a box of mixed raisins and sultanas - that would make a batch of buns for the weekend.
Then, as I put my hand in again, I felt the....could it really be? I grasped it and pulled it out. Yes, a brand new, rubber hot water bottle. I cried. I had not asked God to send it; I had not truly believed that He could.
Ruth was in the front row of the children. She rushed forward, crying out, 'If God has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!' Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small, beautifully-dressed dolly. Her eyes shone! She had never doubted! Looking up at me, she asked, 'Can I go over with you and give this dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?'
'Of course,' I replied.
That parcel had been on the way for five whole months, packed up by my former Sunday school class, whose leader had heard and obeyed God's prompting to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator. And one of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child five months before, in answer to the believing prayer of a ten-year-old to bring it 'that afternoon.'
'Before they call, I will answer.' (Isaiah 65:24)
I received this story in an email and I just thought I needed to share it with you.

A new week, back on the trail
Our Father,
Thank you for who you are and how you work in our lives. Lord, I pray for our country and the choices we as a nation will make in the next few weeks. The time is short for the message of truth to be told. Raise up voices that will shout the message of truth loud and clear. Lord, I ask of you to hold back the lies and slander. Help the people of our nation to understand that we can except each others views with respect without agreeing with each other.
Lord, I see two choices before us. Lord help each person to make a choice based on facts and not fear, or untruths
Lord, Sarah and Senator McCain will speak in Ohio today. I pray for clear speech, a great connection with the people. I pray for truth to be spoken and not half trues but the whole truth. Let people see good, see hope, and desire to join in the choice of reform. I know that Sarah and Senator McCain are people just as we are and they like us have made mistakes. Lord, let us understand that any leader other than you will never do everything perfectly. Lord, let us look at their hearts and see if good is there and if their motives for this office is for the good of our people.
Lord,
I have looked at Sarah and I see a mom who loves you and her family. I see a women who desires for her kids to have a better world to live in. I see a citizen who desires for all of us to have a government that will not be corrupt and take from us but to help us be safe, and live in peace with ourselves and our neighbors. I see a person who desires for the nations of this world to protect us from those who desire to harm us. I thank you for what I see. Give her truth and wisdom today.
Help Sarah as she prepares for the debate on Thursday and Lord, I pray that you will give her the freedom to speak her heart and the wisdom to do so. Thank you for giving her the courage to run for VP.
Lord, I pray that your will be done for her and our nation.
I pray all of this in Jesus Name
Amen
