President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan

Dear Father,

Thank you that you are the God of wisdom. We thank you that your ways are not our ways, and your thoughts higher than ours. So Lord we know that the beginning of wisdom comes from our acknowledgement of you and our reverence of who you are. Thank you for being the only all knowing God.
Lord, Sarah will be meeting with President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan next week. Lord, thank you for this opportunity. I pray that she will seek you about this meeting. Help her to hear this man and understand the challenges Afghanistan faces today. Help her to ask the questions that will lead to a clear understanding of our relationship with Afghanistan and the people of this area. Provide her with insight on how our country should proceed in the next 4 years with our troops in this area of the world. Help her to understand the economical needs of Afghanistan and show her the power struggles that are hindering Afghanistan from being a peaceful nation.

Give her grace and understanding, a tender heart and listening ears. Help her to understand her rule and to show the love of Christ to President Hamid Karzai. Thank you for his position of power and I pray that he seeks the good for his country. Lord, I thank you for this nation and I pray that you will provide godly leaders in our nation at all levels of government.

Lord you know my tomorrows

Lord the Alpha and the Omega
I know that you have tomorrow in the palm of your hand. I know that you know what is to come and so in uncertain days I trust you for my tomorrow. Lord, I pray for Sarah and Todd, give them the peace of knowing that your hand is holding tomorrow for them as well.
When the future is cloudy and the outcome is unsure We know that we can trust in you. Men will let us down, our economy may fail, our government will make mistakes, but God we know that you are the same yesterday, today and forever. We will trust in you. Lord on this day I pray that you will let the Palin family know that you will be the same as you have always been.

Lord, as choices need to be made on the campaign trail Lord, I pray that you will give Sarah Palin and John McCain the wisdom to make the right choice for themselves, their families and for our country. Lord, I pray that they will lean on you for guidance.

Thank you for providing the wisdom when we come to you and ask.

Lord on High hear our cry

Father of Mercy,
It seems as if some in this world have no moral fiber. Lord, I know that only through you we can do good. Lord, protect us from the evil that is in this world. Lord I ask you to bind those who hate us, who love you. Lord. Remind us this day that the victory that we experience is only through your redeeming work on the cross.
I pray that You will provide protection for all those who stand behind Sarah and Todd Palin. Protect their privacy, financial, and protect them from any form of evil design to harm them. The evil is out to destroy anyone who stands for you.
Lord, remind us this day that You are still in control and that you know what today will bring. You will provide us with the strength that we need for this day. Guard our minds and hearts and keep us tender.

Let us remember that you will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you for that promise.

The Good will prevail

In the last few days listening and reading about this elections I sense this overwhelming force of evil that would love to dominate our lives. But I know that my God, My Father, My Savior, My Jesus, My Redeemer has already overcome the evil. I realize this battle is not flesh and blood but of principalities.

Romans 8:22a An we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.....

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us
Romans 15;13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

God's plan will still happen in November. Our hope is in Him.

Lord, I pray that the good that is in this world will prevail. Take away this fear that we can not overcome the evil and wrong doing, the lies, the hate in this world, because we know that in you they are already conquered. Thank you for being the good in this world. Let us be used by you to speak truth, love encouraging words. Let us help those who are hurting and discouraged. Let us lift up those who are down and Lord, let us treat each on as they were you. I love you and I needed the hope only you have to give.

Remind Sarah and Todd and the kids Lord of the Hope You can bring and offer to this world. Let them be filled with all joy and peace as they trust in You. So that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Only by Your Grace

Dear Father God,

Only by Your grace do we come to you today. You have provided so much even when the times seem difficult we know that You will remain who You are. Thank you for your grace in the last few days and Lord we pray for those on the Gulf coast who are trying to put life back to normal. Lord bring to them the people who can help, the materials they need and the spiritual blessings and encouragement that makes this time passable. Lord, Show people who You are and how You desire to be part of their everyday life.

Lord I pray for Sarah and Todd on this day as they join up with Senator McCain in Vienna Ohio. Lord thank for the opportunity to speak in this state on this day. Let there be a clear message, a connection with the people of Ohio and Lord, let people see You in their lives. Lord on the plane with the staff, with the secret service guys, the media Lord I pray that you will shine through to all who walk beside Sarah and Todd.

They will have physical, emotional and spiritual needs and I do not have a clue as to what those needs will be. Lord I will rest in you for you and you alone know all of the needs that the Palin family has and the people in the Gulf coast are suffering. Lord, I will trust in you to meet these needs and let your will be done in Heaven and here on earth. Thank you for our daily bread and Lord we will trust you in all things on this day. Use me today as you see fit.

It's Monday Lord

Good Morning Lord,
I see Sarah is speaking today in Colorado, so Lord please protect her from the reporters wanting that infamous shot or word. Thank you for her secret service detail. Keep them safe as they serve our country. Protect her today. Help her to have a clear message and Lord, let her connect with the people that will be there. Help her to be able to set apart some time to spend with you. Lord, her time with you will be more and more important as the days go by. Lord, Direct her path.

Thank you for the family and Lord I pray for the girls today as they go to school and be with their friends. Help them to be safe and learn what they need to learn today. Help them all live so others see you. Thank you for their lives of service to our country and to you.

Thank you Lord for Mondays. Help us all to have a great week as we live our lives to glorify you.
